Subject: [ia-bird] Sneak Preview Lacey Park - Van Buren Co.
Hi Birders,

Early this morning I went to Lacy State park in Keosauqua for about 1.5 hours. Things are definitely picking up!

Warblers:
N. Parula
Yellow Throated
Yellow Rump
Black & White
Blue Winged
Kentucky
Common Yellowthroat

Other Notables:
Pileated Woodpeckers
Belted Kingfisher
Oriole
Scarlet Tanager
Rose Breasted GB
White-eyed Vireo
E. Towhees
Catbirds
Wood Ducks high in trees

Did not see the resident Waterthrushes this time.

Ground is soggy so boots are recommended, though creek has dropped back to manageable depths.

Should be an awesome IOU weekend!
