Subject: [CT Birds] Lake Mohegan 5/2
This afternoon I spent a couple of hours birding the east side of Lake
Mohegan in Fairfield. A handful of good highlights. The area where the
recent Kentucky Warbler was seen held a few goodies in particular.
Definitely a spot to continue keeping a close eye on.

11 species of warbler plus an adult male "LAWRENCE'S WARBLER" in the
Kentucky area, seen close by to a Worm-eating.

Other good warblers included Wilson's, Blue-winged and BT Blue.

Numbers of passerine breeders are back at this location, such as Wood
Thrush, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and at least one Eastern Kingbird.

This weekend is looking good for another push of migrants, especially
Friday night into Saturday morning.
