Subject: [ia-bird] Wading Shorebirds at Hawkeye WMA & Coralville Lake
Water levels are rising and especially noticeable at Coralville Lake where the mud flats at Curtis Bridge were visible at 7 a.m. and inundated by 11 a.m.
The following were practically the only shorebirds around except for some Long-billed Dowitchers and yellowlegs.

1 Black-necked Stilt & 2 Am. Avocets continued at Curtis Bridge.

8 Am. Avocets seen from Amana Road X Hwy. 965 intersection.

18 Am. Avocets east of Sand Point's base.

 5 Willets at Sandy Beach.
