Subject: [CT Birds] East Rock Park New Haven
To echo two previous reports, the park was hopping today. The most
productive areas being the museum river trail and the overlook. A total of
19 species of warblers were present. Notable the Prothonotary continues as
well as the Hooded. Also seen again was the Orange-Crowned first reported
on Monday.

Warblers: Blue-winged, Orange-crowned, Nashville, Northern Parula, Yellow,
Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, BT Blue, Yellow-rumped, BT Green, Blackburnian,
Palm, Black&White, Redstart, Prothonotary, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush,
Common Yellowthroat, Hooded

Vireos: Blue-headed, Yellow-throated, Warbling

Other notables: Scarlet Tanagers, Rose Breasted Grosbecks, RC kinglets,
Towhee, Kingbird, RB Nuthatch.
