Subject: [ia-bird] Dunbar Shorbs
Birders,

The past few days at Dunbar Slough in far western Greene County there have been upwards of 15 species of shorebirds. This morning there were 5 Marbled Godwits, Long-billed Dowitchers, Semipalmated Plovers, and a variety of other expected species. Yesterday Willet and Wilson's Phalarope were seen.

Best viewing can be done from 270th, just east of Apple Ave (county line). As well as on B Ave, 1 mile south of 270th from the parking lot on the west side of the road, just north of the S curve.

Bird on!
