Subject: [MDBirding] Kathy Woods lecture at Cylburn May 7
Please join us May 7 at 7:00 pm for Baltimore Bird Club's monthly lecture at
the Greenhouse Classroom, Cylburn Arboretum. Our speaker: Wildlife
rehabilitator Kathleen Woods on her work at Phoenix Wildlife Center. Kathy
will speak about the many birds and mammals she has cared for as a wildlife
rehabilitator. Phoenix Wildlife has an eighteen-year history; it is an
all-volunteer, all-community supported organization. Kathy is a crucially
important person for Lights Out Baltimore-- she has a phenomenal success
rate in treating window-strike birds. Currently Kathy is supervising
renovations on a house in Gunpowder Falls State Park that will be the new
home of the center.

*Directions to Cylburn: Enter Cylburn Arboretum from the main entrance at
4915 Greenspring Ave., Baltimore MD 21209. Go around the circle in front of
the Vollmer Center building and follow signs to the Greenhouse Classroom.
Park in the northernmost parking lot. The building beside the lot has a side
entrance door. Go in and turn left, walk through a short hallway and through
a door at the end to enter the lecture room.
