Subject: [ia-bird] Ledges State Park birds
I observed 4 new FOY species along the Lost Lake Trail at Ledges State
Park, Boone Co., this morning: *Broad-winged Hawk, Orange-crowned Warbler,
Palm Warbler & Northern Waterthrush.*

Still found around the south edge of Lost Lake were 2 Winter Wrens. Lost
Lake Trail recently has been a hot spot for easily viewing these sometimes
difficult-to-observe little birds.

Pileated Woodpeckers were pounding away so loudly in a couple of places
that it sounded like houses under construction in a state park!
