4/10 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center, 9:50am-1PM.
Low tide rising, 50-55F,

Very busy at the center today, with classes and visitors. Our Purple
Martins have started arriving, 2 observed at the gourds.
At 9:50am, both ospreys on the perch and later on the nest, then later
another osprey appeared on the perch but was chased away.
On Marsh:
about 50 Brant, 6 Mute Swans, 3 Great Egrets, 2 Snowy Egrets, 12 American
Wigeons, 8 Gadwalls, 13 Red Breasted Mergansers,
20 American Black ducks, herring and Ring billed gulls.

On grounds & feeders:
2 Northern Cardinals, 4 Mourning Doves, 6 American Goldfinches, 4 House
finches-1 male with orange coloration, 3 House sparrows, 6 American Robins,
4 Tree swallows, 18 Common Grackles, 3 Red winged blackbirds, 1 Carolina
wren, 3 Song sparrows, 2 Mockingbirds.
