Subject: [CT Birds] Simsbury Meadows - Northen Shoveler
A stunning drake, found by Jamie Meyers. Easily seen in the marsh just a stone’s throw east of the Rail Trail where it meets the north end of Iron Horse Boulevard. Full eBird report is below.

Comments: I stood overlooking the marsh just east of the Rail Trail at the north end of Iron Horse Boulevard. Besides the birds, there were many turtles, a muskrat and a beaver.
