Subject: [CT Birds] Yellow-headed Blackbird Preston
Female coming into adult plumage from quick looks. With approximately 20 Red-winged Blackbirds and a few Grackles. Triple digits Brown-headed Cowbirds also coming to feeder but not associated with this new arrival. Quite possibly same bird as last year and once again the blackbirds are skittish (doesn’t help that Bluejays are constantly coming in screaming and scattering the flock).
