The raft of long-tailed ducks were still there on Saturday 2/9/19 swimming quite close to the Farragut seawall on Naval Academy grounds in Annapolis. They chattered a lot and dove underwater as a group all at once. A dozen canvasback plus a few ruddies and lesser scaup were present too.

Thanks!

There more than 80 Long-tailed Ducks along the rocky seawall at the Naval Academy at 11 AM. This is a 60mm shot of them, so they were pretty close.
