Subject: [cobirds] more than one? Pink-footed Goose, Barnacle Goose
Word gets around in the birding world, so I was amused when my parents,
wintering at Port Aransas TX, reported meeting some birders who had
recently spent time in Colorado and talked about seeing "several"
Pink-footed Geese and "hundreds" of Barnacle Geese. As far as I can tell,
the discussions on this list have been talking about repeated sightings of
*one* of each species. So I am curious if anyone has seen larger numbers
of either goose, or if these sightings got magnified in the re-telling.
There are lies, damn lies, and bird lists....
