Academic conferences and chamber music concerts will be happening in the library on these dates, so please be mindful of this (especially of the fact that, unlike weekdays when we are all working in the basement, special events all take place on the library's ground floor). During Sunday concerts from 2-4, access to brick pathways & patios may be limited; signs will be posted to indicate this. Parking on Sunday dates in particular will be very limited because of the ticketed concerts, so please park on the street!
As of this afternoon, the bird is still frequenting the eastern portion of the library property, particularly in the hedges, mulched areas & brick pathways between the historic library building and the perimeter wall. It also spends time in the large ficus trees & privet hedges at the east end of the central lawn.
About the library: We are a UCLA special collections library located on the grounds of a 1920s estate. More information about library collections, programs and tours are on our website (https://clarklibrary.ucla.edu/) and you are more than welcome to visit for purposes other than birding! The property is fully gated and the grounds are closed when the library itself is closed (usually, M-F, 9a-4:45p, except for university holidays & special events as above).
Thanks to those who have already come to the library for being such appreciative and respectful visitors!
Good birding, Rebecca Marschall Clark Library/Valley Village <rebecca.fenning...> <rfenning...>
