Subject: [sbcobirding] Gaviota oddities
While in the Gaviota area near the state park this morning, I saw a pair of Common Ravens soaring together. What was unusual to me was the fact that both bird flew for extended periods with their legs hanging down. This is certainly common behavior in many hawks, but I had never seen Ravens do this. Also slightly unusual for this area was one White-tailed Kite.
