Belated report form Thursday at Eagle Marsh. Shrike still present in early morning. Open water was flowing in the ditches along the CD fed by the waste plant outlet. Felt bad chasing the mallards from both directions but finally saw Pintail, H Merg and Shoveler among them. A Goldeneye flew by as well. Was looking for the RL hawk but actually saw 2 RT (one was first year) and N Harrier. At Fox Island the trails were iced and hikers not welcome on most of them anyhow so I left but managed to find a towhee by the sheds.
