Subject: [JERSEYBI] local notes - waterfowl and the delaware river freezing
Friends and I searched for the Barrows across from Trenton this morning.
A nice flock of Goldeneyes was well on the Jersey side. Across from the
Morrisville dike. It took awhile, and zoom lenses well zoomed up, but we scanned
them all well. There was one female with a mostly yellow bill. And it was a Common.

I think wise to keep looking. Especially with the huge freeze up coming. These
birds will be moving around.

The dredge in Gloucester was slow. One good feeding flock and that was
where I parked.

Good birding all.
