Subject: [slocobirding] Pacific Golden-Plovers--1/25, Black Scoters--1/24
At 0730 this morning there were two Pacific Golden Plovers in the field
between Hwy 1 and Point Sierra Nevada Beach (just north of Arroyo de La
Cruz). They were at the ocean side of the field and, though distant, visible
from Hwy 1. Nothing interesting on the beach.

Yesterday morning, scoping from the North Point Natural Area in North Morro
Bay turned up four female and two immature male Black Scoters. These birds
were both north and south of the point and a scope was very helpful.
