Subject: [CT Birds] Trout Brook Valley BOHEMIAN WAXWING
Single BOHEMIAN WAXWING just now in the orchard at Trout Brook Valley preserve in Easton. Heard it fly in to bare tree just left of the barn at base of hill, with small group of starlings. Perched up separate from the flock— got many photos, will post on eBird later. Bird flew off with starling flock, then split away and flew NE. Starlings eventually came back to the tree but waxwing didn’t. Probably still around.
