Subject: [CT Birds] A few interesting Easton birds
I spent today starting my year list in my town of Easton. There were a few
nice surprises mixed in with the usual suspects, most notably a late PALM
WARBLER (Yellow) in an overgrown apple orchard on Flirt Hill, a flyover
Pine Siskin, 6 Field Sparrows (Trout Brook blueberry patch), a Fox Sparrow,
both Scaup species (locally hard to find) and three Bald Eagles at Aspetuck
