This is the very tardy Huntley Meadows Monday Morning Birdwalk report. I can safely claim that Christmas events delayed me until this afternoon. While we are at it, the Friends of Huntley Meadows wish to extend wishes of a Happy Christmas to all our birding friends throughout Virginia and beyond. Our Christmas Eve walk produced 44 species, with large groups of American Crows and 7 Rusty Blackbirds as noteworthy sightings. We wish to thank Barbara and John Perry for hosting our apres birding brunch in their lovely home.

Birders meet in the parking lot at the Park's entrance at 3701 Lockheed Blvd, Alexandria, VA. Questions should be directed to Park staff during normal business hours at (703)768-2525.
