Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday November 22. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls
A YELLOW-BILLED LOON has been seen and photographed during the week at the
lower Nehalem River Estuary. The TUFTED DUCK at Hood River first seen
November 10 continues. An apparent second TUFTED joined it November 18. The
Ona Beach State Park MAGNOLIA WARBLER continues to be seen. Off Boiler Bay
November 21 was a probable THICK-BILLED MURRE was seen among a flock of
Many PALM WARBLERS continue along the coast with a flock of 12 at the Blue
Silo near Flores Lake. On November 17 a flock of seven TUNDRA SWANS were at
Yaquina Bay. Three SNOW BUNTINGS were seen that day at Yaquina Bay.
On November 17 a TROPICAL KINGBIRD was at the Ziak Refuge near Brownsmead.
That day a LONG-TAILED DUCK was on the Columbia River off Prescott Beach
south of Rainier. On November 17 a BLACK PHOEBE was along Reeder Road near
the Sauvie island School. The Rentenaar Road NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH continues.
On November 17 a HARLANıS RED-TAILED HAWK was seen along Duckflat Road south
