Raptors have been putting on a show on Bald Hill Road this week. This noon
there were 5 Ferruginous Hawks, 3 Red-tailed Hawks, 4 Kestrels, and 1
Northern Harrier. A couple days ago at dusk there were also 4 White-tailed
Kites and a Great Horned Owl.

The Banksia flowers are developing nicely in Rose Memorial cemetery. This
morning, while there were at least 20 Anna's Hummingbirds, there were only
three warblers; one each of Yellow-rumped, Townsend's, and Nashville were
present. One Red-breasted Sapsucker was there.
