Subject: Re: Black Scoter at Lake Fayetteville
The female Black Scoter was still present at 4:50pm. It was with a large raft of dabbling and diving ducks, approximately in the middle of the lake (viewable from the disk golf course).

More ducks (around 50) flew in when I was leaving and settled down near the eastern end of the lake. These were too distant to identify conclusively.

17 species of waterfowl in total - Wood Duck (9), Blue-winged Teal (5), Northern Shoveler (60), Gadwall (40), American Wigeon (14), Mallard (15), Green-winged Teal (62), Ring-necked Duck (70), Lesser Scaup (50), Black Scoter (1 female), Bufflehead (6), Hooded Merganser (5), Red-breasted Merganser (1), Ruddy Duck (3), Horned Grebe (3), Pied-billed Grebe (21), American Coot (25)
