I saw this bird in the same area as Mark found it around 7.45 this morning. I had walk down into the lakeshore brush and pish it up. There was quite a bit of disturbance along the track due county workers transporting a generator to the dam, dog walkers, etc. There is a convenient seat up on the path you can wait for the bird to emerge but it was wet from the low cloud today.
