Subject: [Maine-birds] MDI highlights today
Hi all - Highlights of the day today include the following:

*Yellow-rumped Warblers* at home (SWHbr) and at Cable Crossing Road in
Manset. 7 of them actively feeding at the latter location, where fermenting
seaweed and swarms of tiny insects seem like a perfect set up for lingering
migrants.
*Turkey Vulture* overhead in SWH.
*Semipalmated Plovers* (7) at Cable Crossing Road
*Merlin*, *Laughing Gull* (2), *Chipping Sparrow* (2) and *Brown Creeper*
at Seawall and Seawall Campground
*Evening Grosbeak* (1 f.) at my home feeder, briefly. First located by its
call. First of the year for me.

Cheers,
Craig K
