Subject: [birders] Bluejay aerobatics
I just watched a blue jay pecking at a peanut while holding the peanut
against a branch with his foot. The jay pecked too hard; the peanut slipped
out and started to fall to the ground. The blue jay swooped down, caught
the peanut in midair, took it back up into the tree and finished it off.
