Subject: IBET Rollins Savannah - Grayslake
This is the first day that I feel waterfowl migration has begun. Rollins
produced a good variety of migrants including Gadwall (6), Green-winged Teal
(1), Northern Shoveler (15), Redhead (4), Bufflehead (21), Ring-Necked Duck
(2), Ruddy Duck (23).

Additional migrants were a flock of Rusty Blackbirds, and high in the sky a
Bald Eagle and a Northern Harrier. And a coyote was looking longingly from
pondside at a nearby Mallard.

Third Lake had a pair of Mute Swans and a Pied-billed Grebe.
