There was a Burrowing Owl at the North Campus Open Space this morning (Thurs). This bird was first spotted by Darwin Richardson and Beau Tindall two days ago while they were working at the site. It has been using the hibernaculum rock structures created for wildlife on the south side of the slough as 'burrows'. Public access to this area is restricted but the bird can be seen from the path on the north side of the slough.
