Thanks to Jeanette & Jim Scott for finding a great bird. Thanks to Isaac Denzer for recognizing what it is.
There is a female BLACK SCOTER at the Huddleston Pond, AKA the Willamina fishing pond, in Willamina. This is a Yamhill County first sighting!
Yes, Quinton, you do get credit for getting there first (2:50 PM) ahead of me (3:40 PM). You live closer and you weren't taking a nap.
Thanks to Andy Frank for waking me up when he saw the OBOL post.
P.S. Doug Robinson, note my eBird report. ;-) It took a lot longer to make that work than my simple notebook that I'm used to.

Do I get extra credit for getting here before Paul Sullivan?

I just found some photos on eBird labeled as Ruddy Duck. They are actually of a female type *Black Scoter*. The photos were taken today around 9:00 at the Huddleston Fish Pond <https://www.google.com/maps/place/45%C2%B004%2748.1%22N+123%C2%B028%2734.9% 22Wfirstname.lastname@example.org,-123.4779519,14z/data=%214m5%213m4%211s0x0:0x0%218m2%213d45. 0800143%214d-123.476364> in Willamina. Hopefully it'll stick around, so others can see it.
