The Philomath Sewage Ponds DICKCISSEL continues to be seen. On October 22 a
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was photographed at the North Jetty of the Siuslaw
River. A BLACKPOLL WARBLER was seen October 24 among a group of migrant
birds in Corvallis.
PALM WARBLERS and SWAMP SPARROWS continue to be regularly reported. The
first MEW GULLS are now arriving.
On October 21 a SAGE THRASHER was along Goodspeed Road in Tillamook. A KITE
was seen October 19 at its traditional wintering area near the sewage ponds
in Nehalem Meadows. On October 22 a SNOW BUNTING was on Marys Peak near
On October 14 an AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER was photographed at Broughton Beach
in North Portland. On October 21 an OAK TITMOUSE was reported in Gladstone.
The RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER continues in Sherwood. A SAYıS PHOEBE was seen
October 18 at the Eugene Airport. On October 19 two BLACK SCOTERS were at
the La Grande Sewage Ponds.
