Hi,

Chuck Philo found an immature Northern Shrike in the brush just north of
the large green LNG tank late this morning. It flew when a brush cutter
was clearing brush north of the LNG tank. It looks like they may clear all
the brush there and leave a stubble field. This may be the same shrike
found by Jeff Harding near the Hatfield Marine Science Center yesterday
(see eBird checklist with photos below).

Chuck also saw 3 Lapland Longspurs about 100 yards of the LNG tank.

At the Yaquina Bay North Jetty, Chuck saw 7 Lapland Longspurs this morning
near the chain link gate across the North Jetty.
