Subject: Raleigh Migration
Hi All.
Looks like migration has finally arrived in downtown Raleigh. In an hours
time looking from the roof of my porch deck (which is actually a deck
itself) into a Hackberry tree with lots of fruit I saw:
Red-eyed Vireo- 2
Cape May Warbler- 1
Blackburnian Warbler- 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler- 2
Scarlet Tanager- 2
Baltimore Oriole- 1
along with myriads of Robin, a few Thrashers and Mockingbird.
I'm thinking the next couple of days should be hopping.

Looking up into the cloud cover I also noticed at least 7 Monarch
butterflies drift by at about 50- 100 feet high.
