Subject: [birders] OT: Exercise caution when birding at Mary Beth Doyle Park
Birders,
A researcher and her assistant were held up at gunpoint in the woods at Mary Beth Doyle Park today, and had their wallets, cell phones and car keys stolen, and the assistant's car was stolen from the lot. Until police make headway in the case, it is best to stay in open areas of the park, or bird elsewhere.
Sorry for the disturbing news,

Juliet
