Subject: [CALBIRDS] Blue-headed Vireo in San Francisco
Found today (Tue Oct 09) around 1pm in Golden Gate Park. Described as -
Overall bright and contrasty- very blue grey head contrasting with a green
back, strong spectacles enhanced by a black line below and a dark forehead
above, excessive lemon yellow on sides and vent, strong neat line between
the white throat and malar, olive mixed with yellow on the sides later
became apparent. Distinct white edge on outer tail feathers.

Peter Pyle added- "This is an HY by the brown primary coverts contrasting
with the replaced greater coverts and the tapered rectrices. So confirm HY
male Blue-headed Vireo." Both attributes noted here:
