Subject: [JERSEYBI] Hancock field sparrows
This morning I had 2 Lincoln Sparrows along with several Savannahs and
Songs and 1 Swamp Sparrow. Drive to parking lot. On right just before you
get to the parking area is a grassy path that runs through 2 fields. The
field on the right has lots of discarded wood and bramble and loads of
sparrows.
The past couple of years I have found this area to be more productive for
sparrows than Assunpink.
In particular White-crowned and Lincoln are numerous here in season and
easy to get
