Brian,Phil, and Tom had a great day on the ridge which featured 12 species
of raptors and our first Northern Goshawk of the season which passed
directly overhead of the watch site. Bird of the Day honors goes to the
feisty Merlin that harassed 5+ Sharpies on their way down the ridge. Many
thanks to Phil and Tom and to Brian Butler for conducting the count today.
Glad you guys had some nice raptor action. Sorry I missed it !

Non-raptor Observations:
Monarch-56
Ravens- 6
TV's & BV'S
BB- Had a bear "hiking" up the trail just ahead of him on his morning walk
up to the ridge. Very cool !
