Subject: [GABO-L] American Golden-Plover—Altamaha Butler Island-McIntosh co.
Good afternoon,

Just leaving Altamaha WMA-Butler Island unit where I had good looks through scope and obtained photos from the walking path of an adult American Golden-Plover molting into basic plumage. The plover (along with most of the other birds) was in the far southeast impoundment with the water drawn down.
Also noteworthy was a flyover of 3 white pelicans, 9 bobolinks and 1 orange crowned warbler.
Good birding!
