Terry Wahl called a few fays ago, finally getting around to posting, all
from family ranch near Cape Blanco:
Had his first flyover LAPLAND LONGSPUR of the fall on Tuesday.
A LARK SPARROW last Sunday
And a SAY’S PHOEBE on around the 15th of Sep.
He commented on the big numbers of Pelis, he noticed them just this past
week (in large numbers). Normally they arrive in big numbers a little
earlier in the summer. This year they have been pretty thin until about a
week ago. I saw hundreds last weekend in Coos Bay (only scattered small
groups before that). Wonder if any will be around CBC time this year?
