Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: David Brown

Observers: Bill Collins, Carol Spease, Dan Meyer, Dirk Robinson,
Joe Russell, Joe Swertinski, Kim Steininger

Visitors:
3: Harvey R.

Weather:
Misty in the morning. Cloudy with brief partly sunny periods. Warm with
light easterly winds.

Raptor Observations:
A decent number of migrants despite the conditions. Continuing good numbers
of sharpies and kestrels. Only 57 broad-winged hawks so we have not had a
big push yet.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-headed woodpecker, 137 monarchs

Predictions:
Friday: Partly cloudy with winds SSE@9 gusting 14. High around 76. The
winds could disrupt the creation of thermals, but raptors will be getting
lift from the wind. Doesn't seem like great conditions for a big broad-wing
push but maybe we will be surprised.

Saturday: Periods of clouds and sun with winds NNW@8 gusting 13. This has
good potential to be the peak broad-winged hawk day.
