Subject: [MASSBIRD] Back issues of Audubon and academic journals to 1901: Free or best offer

The Massachusetts Audubon Society is cleaning out some duplicate
collections from its library. Some items are going to universities, but
others are not yet spoken for.
Up for grabs are complete or near-complete runs of the following
periodicals since the early 20thC:

--Bird Lore (AKA Audubon Magazine after 1943). Vols. 3-47 and 55-61 Various
hardcover bindings. Issues from 1901-1959.
Initially the journal of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, eventually
taken on by the National Audubon Society.

--Audubon Field Notes AKA American Birds (after vol. 24). Vols. 1-19
(hardcover) and 20-29 (hardcover). Vols. 33-59 (softcover magazine
binding). 1947-2004.
A journal of the National Audubon Society focusing on US bird records,
distribution, and biology.

--Bulletin of the Wilson Ornithological Society. Vols. 47-90 (hardcover
binding) and vols. 92:1-115 (softcover handbook binding). 1935-2003.
An academic journal.

Please help these books find good homes!
These are some serious works that take up serious shelf space. Only offers
to take complete sets will be considered.

Good birding,
Will Freedberg
