Subject: [CVBirds] Western Placer Shorebirds of Note (Baird's and Solitary)
Hello birders,

Baird's Sandpipers (2) continue in the NE pond at the Lincoln Waste Water Treatment on Fiddyment Road. The water level is good for shorebirds. The NW pond (west side of Fiddyment) is still drawn down for maintenance and offers additional shorebird habitat. Be sure to sign-in at front office. Thanks.

At the nearby East Catlett shorebird fields (2), we found a Solitary Sandpiper in SE corner (near road) of the field to the east. It was working the deeper water along the edge and between the vegetation. These fields are located at the NE corner of East Catlett and Brewer Road.

Good birding,

Deren Ross
