Hi all, Ventured out on this hot humid morning to see if the "Buffie" was still around. After a bit of searching thru some Horned Larks, and KilldeerI found it in the company of a Solitary Sandpiper and 2 Killdeer near the red wooden planks (about mid way )closest to the goal post. The grass is taller around the boards so the birds vanished in them. Patience is required as is scope. Mike Bowen arrived after me and also viewed the birds as well.
Good birding,D.Ford, Bethesda.
