MOB, checked out Freezout this late afternoon. It was pretty quiet for the shorebirds. Only shorebird seen was one Baird's Sandpiper, on what I saw was the only decent mud flat near the Rattlesnake outhouse on the far side of the lake. Other birds worth a note are-- saw 8 White-faced Ibis on Pond 3, also near that spot saw one American Bittern, along the Mud Road saw one Loggerhead Shrike, along the same road saw one Merlin, and to end it all up saw one juvenile Ferruginous Hawk along the Mud road as well. All for now good birding Larry Carter.
