Hey all,
I've had the pleasure of regularly birding an exceptional patch of riparian
habitat along Telegraph Creek near the American's Prairie Reserve (APR)
headquarters about an hour south of Malta for the past week or so. We
haven't had a ton of turnover but there have been several good birds for
the area. Below is a short, arbitrary list of highlights, see eBird for
details and photos. FYI -- APR lands are open to the public and there is a
campground/RV court just north of the HQ. See website for info;

Blackpoll Warbler (2)
Tennessee Warbler (2)
Orange-crowned Warbler (1)
American Redstart (4)
Northern Waterthrush (4)
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
Lincoln's Sparrow (1)
Long-eared Owl (1)
Black-headed Grosbeak (8)

Best,
Andy Boyce
