Last weekend I led a pair of Abbott's Lagoon trips for GGAS and Marin Audubon respectively. Baird's Sandpiper was the target species. Saturday the lagoon was swept clear of shorebirds by a very active pair of Peregrines. We did see a Clay Colored Sparrow at the first little marsh on the left not far from the trail head (ID'd after the fact with photos taken by a participant).
Sunday there were two Baird's Sandpiper on the north edge of the lagoon.
