Subject: [CVBirds] Baird's Sand at Woodland WTP

There is currently a cooperative Baird’s Sandpiper in the first pond south of the birders parking sign at Woodland WTP. As with most of the peeps, the bird is midway between the north end of the spit and the south edge of the pond so close enough for good looks even with binoculars when viewing from the levee road. That said, I suggest a careful approach to avoid unnecessarily flushing the birds.
