Although not in Connecticut I saw a post from Maine indicating that at least a dozen pairs of Bobolinks were found nesting in marsh/scrub habitat! Sure is unusual and would be interesting to see how widespread this is. First time I have heard of this and it would be wonderful if this is an indication that they can adapt to nesting in this type of habitat!
