Subject: [MASSBIRD] RE: Red-Breasted Nuthatch
The BBC's annual Rangeley, Maine trip was last weekend. I'll leave it to
others to provide a full description of the trip but do want to comment on
Red-Breasted Nuthatch, given Sean's earlier post. To put it simply, they
were everywhere in family groups, possibly the most common species after
White-Throated Sparrow and maybe even more common. What Sean saw today on
PI could be an early indicator of a big flight year for the species.
