Subject: [southbaybirds] A couple Alviso Bonaparte's Gulls
All,

This morning (7/2) there was a BONAPARTE'S GULL in New Chicago Marsh (just north of the EEC entrance road between the intersection of Los Esteros Road and Spreckles Ave and the railroad tracks crossing the entrance road). A second, different, Bonaparte's Gull was on the first island in Salt Pond A16. As far as I know the Black Rail was not heard or seen in the Alviso Marina this morning (at least up to about 10:40 AM). Shortly before that a PEREGRINE FALCON was seen flying south over the Marina and vocalizing.

Take care,

Bob Reiling
