Subject: [Maine-birds] Maine Bird Atlas map with hotspots
If you've ever wanted to see how eBird hotspots overlap the Maine Bird
Atlas is a map for you: If you click
on a hotspot, it will show which block contains it (though of course the
actual extent of the hotspot may cross over to another block), and will
give you a link to the observations for both the atlas block and the
hotspot. The priority blocks that haven't been adopted yet are highlighted
in blue, and conserved land is highlighted in brown, too. If you click on
"Contents" you can add aerial imagery.

This is helping me plan birding trips with the Bird Atlas in mind, and I
hope others can get use out of it too. The data come from eBird and Maine
IFW, mostly.
